Where It All Began…

Yup, that’s me! At 12 years old, in my godmother’s blue room in Kannapolis, NC, I pulled out my iPod Touch and started singing. But I wasn’t keeping the videos to myself. I was chasing a dream, sending tapes to Steve Harvey, Ellen, Oprah, and Dr. Phil.
The song I chose was “Praise on the Inside” by J Moss. Looking back, it was more than just a song. It was a preface for my life…a declaration that my light and faith in Jesus couldn’t be bottled up inside me. I had to let the world know…
And then…
I realized my voice could live in many different spaces, but with the same goal in mind: to spread joy, bring smiles, and create moments people would never forget.
That came to life on the field at the 2023 Duke’s Mayo Classic, where thousands of fans came together, and my voice carried the energy of the entire stadium. In that moment, I knew that this was what I was created to do.
Today,
Although singing will always be my first love, my voice is more than music; it’s the common denominator that connects every part of my life.
When I sing, I share my faith and the light inside me.
When I host and emcee, I bring people together in moments of laughter, energy, and joy.
When I lend my voice to storytelling and creative projects, I help brands and people be heard in powerful, authentic ways.
Different stages. Different audiences. One purpose.
To use my voice to inspire, uplift, and remind people of the joy that’s already within them.
